May 16 was a day of dreams-coming into life! Enchanted Kingdom and Careline made a partnership in a vision to make little girls as happy as they should be. The soft opening of the Princess Victoria’s Dream Parlor happened in the afternoon with lots of fun and activities. It started at 1:00 pm with Careline Make-up professionals teaching little girls how to prettify themselves. By 4:00 pm, the audiences witnessed song numbers from princesses of Enchanted Kingdom. The owner and President of EK, Mr. Mario Mamon, with his beautiful wife and Vice President of SMILE Division, Mrs. Cynthia Mamon, made the opening remarks. Eldar, the wizard of EK, made every little girl, as well as little boys, smile even more.

Ribbon Cutting was done by Mark Charles Salecina, Brand Manager of Ever Bilena, and Ms. Bea Mamon, daughter of the owner. Audiences entered the cute parlor of Princess Victoria and found themselves in awe with the designs and, of course, the products of Careline Cosmetics.

Games even made fun with prizes from Careline. Jimi Paolo V. Valeza, Brand Officer of Careline, facilitated the games.

There is no doubt that a successful team starts well with friendship. Pretty, tall and welcoming members of the Careline Pilipinas women’s basketball team went to India to battle a big game. The girls showed hopeful thoughts to the first-ever “FIBA-Asia Under-16 Women’s Basketball Tournament” against twelve other countries across Asia held last November 30 to December 6, 2009 at Belawadi, Pune, India.

Banked on practices since last summer, Coach Patrick Aquino, the veteran coach of the Careline Pilipinas team was optimistic to their game as he says “I believe in my players, their skills are natural and innate. As a coach, I am only here to guide and enhance their skills”. Flashing his positive hopes for the team, Coach Pat truly relied and believed in his players’ natural skills.

Assisted by Coach Julie Amos, Coach Paul Du and Don Johnson Martinez, the team was composed of twelve players, namely Jonah Mari Melandres, Danica Therese Jose, Tara Araneta, Trisha Piatos, Jackie Tanaman, Lore Rivera, Kai Javier, Kitkat Nitorreda, Elrica Castro, Trisha Dy, Ginny Pioquinto and Cheskie Tantoco.

Mr. Dioceldo Sy, President and CEO of Ever Bilena and Careline Cosmetics, showed the company’s support to the inaugural women’s under-16 tournament. No wonder why Careline team continues to discover, develop and maintain the grassroots program of the women-youth sector of Samahang Basketball ng Pilipinas (SBP); the agreement of Careline with SBP officers which delivers the mission of sharing social responsibility by promoting beauty and wellness through sports especially to the youth.
