Kids contestants for Image Model Search

Image Model Search 2010 and Careline Cosmetics have come to discover new faces and new talents. May 30 marked the final day of proclaiming the newest faces to conquer the world of modeling and acting. The competition was divided into three categories: kids, pre-teens, and teens. The Kids category started around 1:30 in the afternoon. 15 girls and 3 boys competed for the slot of becoming the Kid Image Model 2010. Winners are Ahsien Kurt Castro (boy) and Denise Canlas (girl). Each of them have received Php20,000.00 cash, trophies, gift certificates, and free one year acting workshop.

The pre-teen category commenced right after the kids category was over. 4 boys and 17 girls competed for the Pre-teen Image Model finals. After 5 segments (recycled wear fashion, sports wear, summer wear, fashionista segments and the question-and-answer) only one boy and one girl emerged as the Pre-teen Image Model champions. Kyson Burce is the Pre-teen Image Model Male winner while Hazel Beatirz emerged as the Pre-teen Image Model Female winner. Like the kids category, each of them have received Php20,000.00 cash, trophies, gift certificates, and free one year acting workshop. Kyson Burce also bagged the Mr. Blackwater award, Martina Cho as Ms. Careline and Hazel Beatriz as Ms. EB Pinkwater.

May 16 was a day of dreams-coming into life! Enchanted Kingdom and Careline made a partnership in a vision to make little girls as happy as they should be. The soft opening of the Princess Victoria’s Dream Parlor happened in the afternoon with lots of fun and activities. It started at 1:00 pm with Careline Make-up professionals teaching little girls how to prettify themselves. By 4:00 pm, the audiences witnessed song numbers from princesses of Enchanted Kingdom. The owner and President of EK, Mr. Mario Mamon, with his beautiful wife and Vice President of SMILE Division, Mrs. Cynthia Mamon, made the opening remarks. Eldar, the wizard of EK, made every little girl, as well as little boys, smile even more.

Ribbon Cutting was done by Mark Charles Salecina, Brand Manager of Ever Bilena, and Ms. Bea Mamon, daughter of the owner. Audiences entered the cute parlor of Princess Victoria and found themselves in awe with the designs and, of course, the products of Careline Cosmetics.

Games even made fun with prizes from Careline. Jimi Paolo V. Valeza, Brand Officer of Careline, facilitated the games.

Enchong Dee is a young achiever himself. A good actor, a heartthrob, a hunk model and a champion swimmer as well. Though he may not be as big as other ABS-CBN talents, at least, he is on his steps to be one.

Ernest Lorenzo Dee, his true name, was born November 5, 1989. He has an elder brother who is a Filipino actor model, AJ Dee. Enchong graduated from Naga Hope Christian School, one of the top high schools in Naga City, Camarines Sur. After which, he took tertiary schooling at De La Salle University in Manila where he pursued hisswimming career.

In 2006, Enchong’s first TV appearance was when he appeared in a popular Philippine talk show Homeboy. He was an instant eye-catcher, especially modeling agencies and advertisers. He soon appeared in several big campaigns including Bench (Apparel) and Timex (Watches).

Enchong is presently one of the fast-rising stars of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic group of talents. He is best known for playing the roles of Blue in the teen-oriented show Abt Ur Luv. He starred as Jomari Buenavista, alongside Katorse withco-star Erich Gonzales, with whom he is being paired of on-screen.

Enchong has done lots of TV guesting. He landed several acting roles starting 2007 such as “Sineserye”, “Komiks: Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao”, “Abt Ur Luv” book 1 & 2, “My Girl” and “Your Song Presents: My Only Hope”, “Maruja”, “Ikaw Lamang”, and “Tanging Yaman”.

Enchong is a also part of the Philippine national swim team and has participated in the SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games. He has won over 400 medals as a swimmer.

Runway Cavite Talents and Events Productions, once again, invited Careline to a Summer Mall Tour Invasion, which showcased the talents and beauties of the RCTEP members. It started at the SM Dasmarinas event center on April 12, followed by the second leg on April 21 at SM Bacoor. The last leg was held at SM Rosario on April 29, 2010.

Talents paraded the different products of Careline and Blackwater, wearing also the Careline and Blackwater shirts.

Careline Marketing Staff and Make-up Artists did the make-up of the teen models for the fashion and variety shows respectively.

RCTEP has been recruiting and molding talents of the young generations so as to prepare themselves for the wider horizons of modeling, acting and the likes. It has been founded and directed by Mr. Ronald delos Santos.

Age doesn’t matter in saving Mother Earth. No matter how young you may be or old you may be, a little contribution on making Earth clean is a must. Many advocacies from different government and private sectors have made moves for an awareness and how-to-save campaigns. Not counting less is the yearly Ms. Philippines Earth pageant and its global counterpart, the renowned Ms. Earth pageant.

As we continuously save Mother Earth, Carousel productions, the management handling Ms. Philippines Earth and Ms. Earth pageants, opted it wise that girls, ages 6 – 10 years old, should be little advocates of saving the Earth. And Ms. Little Earth Angels search has come to a reality. Now, on its fourth year, Ms. Little Earth Angels search is gaining popularity nationwide.

Last April 18, the grand coronation was held for the search of the Earth Angels. Seven (7) beautiful and talented girls competed from the different elimination rounds done in different SM Malls. These young girls vied for the crown through their talent showcases, Q & A portion and, definitely, their confidence and eagerness for the cause of the pageant.

The winner is Shaina Rae Sanguyo, who won during the elimination round done at SM Southmall. Shaina will be the little Earth advocate for the whole year in which earth-saving activities are in stored for her. She believes that it’s high time for a global awareness on saving Mother Earth; and this belief is being supported by CARELINE. Careline has supported such cause and will continue to do so.

So to the new reigning Ms. Little Earth Angel 2010 and to Carousel Productions, Inc., congratulations and more power! Careline supports saving Mother Earth!

Last April 7 (Wednesday), Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales proved to be a fast-rising on-screen love team as hundred of fans screamed during the Enchong-Erich Fan’s Day held at SM North Edsa Annex. This event was organized by Cinema One as it promoted the couple’s indie-film Paano Ko Sasabihin?

The event started with lots of games and surprises. Many fans answered the Q and A game portion regarding their teen idols. Careline Cosmetics supported the event as it gave many gifts to winning fans. After the game portion, Enchong and Erich rendered a couple of songs from which fans screamed even loudly. Afterwhich, the two patiently signed posters for their fans.

Erich Gonzales’ win as a grand champion for the Star Circle Quest Batch 2 has been her stepping stone in the Philippine showbiz arena, but she waited for a time that she be recognized as an actress. Enchong Dee started as a Star Magic talent from which he also had his wait. No matter the wait for the right time and opportunity to prove that they good actor and actress, Erich and Enchong have their reward of even shinning brightly.
